Go-live team communication and reporting

Once you go into the go-live process you will face an intense phase of the project with a lot of activities to be performed, issues that shall be taken care of, many with critical short deadlines. Planning communication and reporting during the go-live period helps making life as easy as possible in the project team and helps keeping the overview of everything that is taking place. One or more of the following activities may be considered:

·   Share go-live plan with the team

·   Define who is in control and keeps the overview of all go-live activities

·   Define processes for issue reporting and management during go-live

·   Setup a “war room”

·   Agree on escalation procedures

·   Define fixed information (meetings and info mails) during go-live·   Celebrate launch
